Making fun of Asians?
Hi well am asain and i don't know what to do when i see a person slatting there eyes. I don't get that hand game "Chinese Japanese they look so funny this is how they count their money" That hand game and they say they look funny. Am not any one of those though am Filipino. I really don't know what to do when i see a person doing that and making their eyes look like that it is just cruel. Like my class mate he is from india and the only one from there and we were talking about different cutlers in our class room my friend said she is from korea and Argentina and my other class mate said he is from china then he the guy from india started making an asain face with his eyes. Really i don't know what to do when i see this can anyone tell me how they feel about this and how to deal with it or do something about it.

You don't need to even be a part of a group that's being made fun of to do something about it. If you see someone doing that, yell at them, make them feel guilty. Racist jokes like that are not okay.

If he meant it as a joke and wasn't serious about it, your other classmates probably got the joke. If he did it to be mean.. then yeah, just stand up to him and say that was inappropriate.

I say join in the fun. Indians have some of the funniest accents in the world. They worship elephants and they have dots on their heads. Come on. Life's too short to be offended by stuff like this.
