How to make it look like we bought this xbox new?
We are giving my friend an 360 for his bday (bc they took me to san juan) but we bought it off craigslist to save money how can we make it look new in the box

The truth is that you can make it look new but it won't function like it's new. What I mean is that when you first turn on an Xbox 360 there is a video that automatically plays that shows you how it works and stuff. You cannot reset a hard drive to it's factory settings so, if he catches that, the whole faking like it's new thing will be ruined. As for making it look new, you really can't make it look new if you don't have the inside packaging in tact meaning that you need all the little plastic bags that everything came with. Good luck and that's an awesome birthday gift!

an xbox is an xbox I wouldn't care if mine didn't look new as long as it works I'm sure they will love it.

Just put it in a box, and wrap it. It's a gift, who cares where you got it? Who cares what it looks like? If it works, it's a good gift. The fact that it's not brand new and in the box doesn't make it a bad gift--it would be a bad gift if the recipient discovered you were trying to mislead them. ~Scottie
