work 13-14 year old.?
ok so i live in san juan capistrano/dana point in california. i really need a job but im 13. i turn 14 in like 2 months. can i get a work permit and lets say im still 13 and i find a job that accepts 14 yr olds with work permits could i still be accepted if u have any better ideas that allow me to make money please tell me. dont say babysitting or mowing lawns please and thank you. =)

You have to be 14 at the time of hire. You will need a work permit that you can get from the school. Most cities have a lot of summer jobs for teens. Good Luck.

Here is more info on work permits: California law requires any student under the age of 18 to obtain a work permit. The hours a student may work vary according to age. 15 years and under: When school is not in session, they may work no more than 8 hours on any day and 40 hours a week maximum. Anyone know if its slang or somehting? `^^ Im 14.This is something iv been doing for about 3 mounths.Its ligit.It gets a good $75 a mounth(only because I dont do it mch).Considering all I ever get is couch change I realy like this =D Fell free to message me through their site if you need help.
