Why do tracking numbers never show anything for me?

Why do tracking numbers never show anything for me?
I've been getting registered stuff from Taiwan and Argentina. The numbers always start with RR. I type them in and they show that they left the country of departure. After that no information ever updates, ever. Even after receiving the package I can look back and it still has no updated info about it having arrived here. I'm paying money not only for it to be insured here, but also so I can keep tabs on it. If a package were to get lost, isn't the information on every location the package has passed important in tracking it? That's one of the purposes of tracking I thought. Yet here I am, always only getting to see that it left and then it stays empty like that forever, and I have to wonder if my package got lost. It's like the postal system has gotten lazy, and it's constantly making me worry my packages are missing. I just see no reason that there should never be an update on where it is. One tracking number didn't even show that it left, it kept showing up as invalid until hours after I received, where it says that it made it to my location. Seriously, only one piece of information? It should show EVERY SINGLE LOCATION it passed to make its way to my house, not just my house only. Someone has got to know what's going on here. Are all postal systems in the world just being lazy gits who could give less than a damn that people are paying for actual tracking? Or do they think tracking is just a fancy name. Because receiving the tracking number sure as hell should have more meaning than just getting to view that it arrived at your house, after you already received it and you could care less to check up on that info anymore.

The tracking number from another country does not have to be honored by the U.S. postal service, and vice versa as well. If you send a package with a tracking number from the U.S. to a foreign country via postal service, their postal workers are not obligated to track anything. This is because they are government workers and can not be told what to do by other governments. Now, if you ship by Fed Ex or UPS, that's another story, because the entire path taken by the package is within their custody - i.e. the same company handles the package, and they are employees of the same company, even if they work in different countries. So, it's the FED EX guy's JOB to scan the package from beginning to end. But with government Postal systems, do you really think some guy in Greece or France or Argentina gives a crap what the USPS asks them to do? Or do you think a USPS worker gives a crap what the post office in Argentina asks them to do? They should cooperate, but they don't. Typical government worker attitude.

Does anyone remember Sanford implying Rush Limbaugh was an Idiot?

Does anyone remember Sanford implying Rush Limbaugh was an Idiot?
Sanford Implies Rush Limbaugh Is An "Idiot" http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/02/25/sanford-rush-limbaugh-is_n_170041.html Then 4 months later Sanford admits to having an affair and then Limbaugh defends the man who called him an idiot is Limbaugh that big of an ideologue he'll defend an republican that called him an idiot? Here is what Limbaugh said. RUSH: I'm checking e-mail. "Rush, are you kidding, this theory of yours about Sanford?" No, I'm not. My first thought was he said: "To hell with this. The Democrats are destroying the country. We can't do anything to stop it. I gave everything I had to stop it here in South Carolina. My wife's left me, the hell with it. I'm going to enjoy life what little time I've got left." Folks, there are a lot of people that are looking at life, they're saying screw it. They're saying screw it. Before Obama takes away all their money, before Obama takes away their house or the economy takes away their house, there are people who are simply saying the hell with this. They've tuned out. The hell with it. I'm just going to try to enjoy it as much as I can. Clinton was in Argentina the other night from what I'm told. I frankly think that this is what's wrong with the economy today. I frankly think a whole lot of people have just lost their spirit. Normal Americans, cap and trade. Stimulus bill. Taking over the automobile companies. They see it. They don't have a voice. They're saying screw it. I can't stop it. The political party that I'm a member of has no spirit either. Do you see any spirit out of the Republican Party? Obama's killing it everywhere it used to be. And that's why the economy is languishing, because in normal times people that make this country work overcome all these obstacles. But now people don't see any way to stop this. Warren Buffet said yesterday: We're in a shambles. The economy's in a shambles. There's no improvement for the end of the year. So Sanford is saying: You know, what the hell, I love this woman. Screw it. I mean, it doesn't make sense and forget the dignity, morality. I'm just telling you a lot of people may have the same attitude. http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_062509/content/01125109.guest.html

So Dimbaugh is blaming Obama for Sanford's infidelity? That is strange since Sanford's affair began long before Obama was elected.

i think obama has caused a lot of people to think like that. time will tell and not much time left to wake up and see what is happening to our country. - independent

What can I do about a neo nazi who hides his racism?

What can I do about a neo nazi who hides his racism?
He doesn't have a shaved head or wear doc martins? He even pretends to not hate minorities and even sells and lends money to them. But I know that he secretly loves Hitler and embraces the National Socialist ideology. He even makes up departments within his company so he can hire other white people instead of minorities. He call them 'assistants' and hires blacks and asians and 'executives' but allows the 'assistants' to make decisions behind closed doors. He's my neighbour and tried to recruit me and my 'Aryan' family. He offered me over $100,000 but I refused. Can I call the FBI or CIA to stop him? He has companies in Argentina and Brazil? What if this is world wide race hate?

You sound paranoid.

You could also just ignore him and go on with your life.

have sex with him instead

First rule of trolling as an American ("Can I call the FBI or CIA"): we don't spell words like humor, favorite or neighbor with a U.
5 :
Second rule of trolling as an American: we use real quotation marks.
6 :
He sounds a bit dodgy and I'm not sure what the law is in the U.S, but I don't believe that by simply having the ideology that he has is illegal. If you can prove he is breaking some sort of anti-racism law or evading tax etc. then maybe you would have a case. Just because you live in America it doesn't mean you're from America does it?
7 :
I don't know why the countries he has companies in is important but ignore the fool. He has to right to believe what he wants (even if it is loony). If he discriminates on hiring based on Race, Color, Country of Origin, Sex, or Religion, he can create some legal problems.
8 :
You can be Pro-White without being Anti-Anyone
9 :
Follow him for a week and hack into his computer This could lead to a exciting adventure mixed with romance and a coming of age story you only see in movies Oh yea and Nazi gold
10 :
Well now in the post in law and ethics you said he is your boss.So which is it? Seems you are a troll.

What is the process in order to get a Letter of Invitation for a Foreign Individual in order to obtain a visa?

What is the process in order to get a Letter of Invitation for a Foreign Individual in order to obtain a visa?
I have a friend from Argentina who is trying to visit me in California, no work or school involved, simply trying to visit as a tourist. She was denied her tourism visa (ineligible) & told to reapply. We want to make sure everything goes right this time in order to not lose any more time & money, & i heard a letter of invitation of some sort would aid the process. I've never done this before, so how do I get the process started? Do I just write this letter myself or do I have to get it certified somewhere? If so, is there a template I should follow? What should the general process of obtaining a visa look like? Any info wold help. Worst part of all is that the flight is already scheduled for July 1, so how long would the process take? Does it seem likely this process would take longer than 2 months? What are the chances we'll miss the flight (losing even more $)?

There is no such process. You are free to send her a letter asking her to visit you. However, it's unlikely to have any effect on the US Consular Officer who interviews her. The odds are the US Consular Officer will not even look at it. US law requires each visitor applicant to be treated as an intended immigrant. The law then requires the applicant to PROVE to the Consular Officer's satisfaction that he/she will not stay in the United States. The applicant must qualify on his/her own merit. The application fee is $131. It should not take more than a week or two to process the application. Personally, you're wasting your time. She's going to be seen as being at extremely high risk to overstay. http://argentina.usembassy.gov/why_a_visa_was_refused2.html Her best chance at getting a tourist visa is to demonstrate to the US Consular Officer that she has a GOOD job in Argentina, a home/apartment, regular and substantial income, etc.....

Letter won't help at all. She has to present very strong evidence of documentations that she would definitely come back to Argentina after visiting US. Such evidence includes letter from school enrollment, or employment letter stating when she is due back to work, ownership of property, house, lease of apartment, utility bills, dependent to her or family that she has to take care, such as her child, husband, ill mother and such. Applicants must demonstrate that they are properly classifiable as visitors under U.S. law by: Evidence which shows the purpose of the trip, intent to depart the United States, and arrangements made to cover the costs of the trip may be provided. It is impossible to specify the exact form the documentation should take since applicants' circumstances vary greatly. Those applicants who do not have sufficient funds to support themselves while in the U.S. must present convincing evidence that an interested person will provide support. Depending on individual circumstances, applicants may provide other documentation substantiating the trip's purpose and specifying the nature of binding obligations, such as family ties or employment, which would compel their return abroad. http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_1262.html Also, if she is denied recently, she needs at least 3-6 months to build her case, before she reapply again. She has more chance loosing flight fare than getting visa in 2 months.

its all about convincing the officer of not willing stay in the us , whatever is the documentation she brings , focus on that...good luck
