Some of these questions are VERY badly written. 1. In the 1980s and 1990s, Latin America generally D) suffered from hyperinflation. This might not be the answer desired, but it is true. Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Uruguay, and Mexico all had to remonetize between 1980 and 1995. 2. Which country had a civil war that lasted from 1960 to 1996? D) Guatemala http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guatemalan_Civil_War 3. What was Che GuevaraĆ¢€™s main goal in Cuba? B and C are both true. My guess is C) To establish a Marxist regime is the desired response. 4. The military dictatorships of Chile, Brazil, and Argentina all C) used torture and murder to silence opposition. 5. Which Latin American country experienced an inflation rate of 2,500% per year by 1990? At one thime or another. A,B,and C are all true. B) Brazil was the worst of the lot, but Peru wasn't far behind, and Mexico in 1982 and 1983 came very close. 6. Thirty thousand people disappeared from which country between 1976 and 1983? C) Argentina (Los Desparecidos) 7. What was true about U.S. foreign policy in Guatemala, El Salvador, and Nicaragua? None of these answers fits all three cases. During the late 1980s, the Sandanista government in Nicaragua WAS communist for all practical purposes, eliminating D. The Iran - Contra affair eliminates B and C. A is the only response that even comes close. 8. Which of the following countries is ruled by a communist government? B) Cuba 9. Which of the following countries was ruled by a dictatorship? A) Cuba, although one could argue that Chile under Pinochet wasn't much better. 10. Which of the following countries had a GDP of more than $10,000 in 2004? All of them did. I suspect they meant per capita, but they sure didn't say that.

Going To Cuba?

Going To Cuba?
Well I have citizenship from 3 countries (Argentina,Spain,US).Born In Spain, lived in the US and family is from Argentina. I have updated passports from all three countries. Now I really want to go to Cuba, I know it is a BIG NO NO to go over there if you are a US Citizen however I am a Argentina and Spanish citizen as well and they have the right to go. But if I go I want to go through Mexico using either my Argentine or Spanish passport, now will I need 2 passports to back and forth? Let me explain, can I enter Mexico with my Argentine passport from the US and fly from there with it? When I want to come back to the US I will just use my US passport. My cousin told me fly to Argentina to Cuba, Cuba back to Argentina then Argentina to the US, that is A LOT of traveling, money is not really an issue it's is I want to make it a bit closer for me. If it is too much of a headache, I will just wait until US gets buddy buddy with Cuba again, lol yah right like that will happen! CIAO!

About Disney Channel...?

About Disney Channel...?
Is it that hard as they say to get into it? I'm 15 years old now and I live in Argentina. In three years time, when my BFF and I finish High School, we wanna move to LA and make auditions for films. Our dream is to become actresses and get to know the Jonas Brothers! We love them! =) We are both taking dramma classes and we are about to start taking guitar and singing classes, cause I'd love to be a singer too. I'd love to have a life like the JBs, getting up at 7 am., making photoshoots, playing in concerts, doing rehersals, sound tests, filming, and I would definetly LOVE to have fans, not because of the fame or the money, but because it feels awesome knowing that people likes what you do! =) And we (well, at least, I) wish we could get into Disney Channel. For what I see, they say it's hard to get into it. Is that true? If yes, then how did so many teenagers like Hilary Duff, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, the JB, Zac Efron, etc, etc, etc get into it? Please, don't rude comments. I don't care if you think DC is good or not, I'm just asking if it's so hard to get into it. And if you have any other information about it like auditions or ANYTHING related to this industry, please contact me! Thanks for everything! =) Peace out n Xoxo! I know I gotta work HARD and I'm going to do whatever it takes to fulfill my dream. And I know I won't get a part in 6 months, I never said that, I said that I'd love to get into DC and I'll move to LA as soon as I finish school. But when we get there, we'll make auditions for ANYTHING and work really hard and TRY to get into Disney. And I don't think I'd be too old for that, I'd be just 18 years old. Look at Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Zac Efron, they were in their 20's when they got in! And yes, there is a Disney Channel studio in Argentina, but I gotta be sincere, I don't like it. I don't like anything that has to be with my country. I think tv, movies, books, everything it's made in Argentina IS NOT GOOD! That's why I wanna move. And, about what "theatrechic" said, I told you before that me and my BFF are taking dramma classes since last year. We already made a play at a real theater, we are gonna make another one this year and the next year, over and over again until we move Besides, I'm not trying to sound egocentric or anything, I don't want you to think something wrong about me, but I think I have some talent, I think I'm kinda good. I'm nost saying I'm perfect, great or anything. I just said I think I'm good at acting. And I'm starting to take singing and guitar classes so I can be good at music too. And about the JBs, I wanna know them because I think they're great, they're awesome! And I love them cause I'm a fan, like so many girls... Any fan would love to get to know them, as you'd probably love to get to know you're idol, whoever he or she is. Luckly, they're coming to Argentina next year, around June or July. And my birthday is in June! =) So as a bday present, I'm going to go to their concert. But anyway, I didn't ask my question to talk about them. I just wanted to know that: if it's so hard to get into DC. And people, please! I told you before! No rude or mean comments. If you're not interested on this or you don't like DC, don't even bother on answering me! PS: Sorry if I make any mistake. My english is not perfect...

I don't think it's THAT hard to get into disney but I think it's harder to become a disney channel star. There's this band at the high school I'm going to go to and they have a contract with disney. But to be a disney channel star....you have to be great at an audition.
3 :
you just have to have a really good audition with them.. i mean.. if ur perky and reallyyyy good they might pick you. but its tought b/c so many kids audition and dont make it. but you can't expect to grad. from high school and 6 months later your on the disney channel and have a role.. it takes experience and time. you should start off with doing commercials.. if they see you have experience they will want to hire you more.. so i would suggest audition for commercials now .. b/c i know u may not want to have to stop high school now if u have to film a tv show. but it takes time.. years.. nobody became a star in just months.. maybe they got noticed then. but u have to know all those ppl have been acting on shows and commercials for at least 5 years.. like hilary duff was in a movie when she was like 6 or 7.. the casper and wendy movie.. and selena gomez and demi lavato were on barney when they were 7.. i really cant think of ne1 who started at 18 and became famous at 18.. good luck though!

It's EXTREMELY hard. And the 'so many' you refer to were picked out of THOUSANDS that wanted to be where they are. Trust me. And isn't there a Disney Channel Argentina? I don't really know about all the over seas stuff, but just know your chances aren't high. I'm not exactly sure what they look for b/c there are so many people who are WAY better actors/actresses that never get chosen (no I am not referring to myself as I have never submitted to Disney before - but I know people who have) If you want some good news, moving to LA would help but that' pretty much it. Get some experience where you are so you at least have a good resume to send in.

to be honest im starting the road to become a westend actress. and if its the same for what u want to do as what i want to do. of course you have to have the talent and ambition/drive. and you can have all the talent in the world if you dont get given the right chances or know the right people you wont get anywhere.its alot about luck and your looks. one tip i have tho is dont do extra's work. it is looked down apon and you will nt be taken seriously as an actress. and dont forget its not all glamourous. if you make it u might not have a job for 6 months and b living on nothing and then youll get loadsa jobs at once. as long as your not in it for the fame but because you love it soo much! then you should be fine :) also one last tip. maybe go to a stageschool. like on saturdays or something. and join clubs ect to get more experience. hope that helps at all :)

If you want to get onto disney channel it is going to take ALOT of work. First off, you have to take years of acting classes and involve yourself in community theatre. Then you have to work in professional theatre and work on getting yourself an agent. After years of commercials, and possible small parts in movies and on tv you might get a role on disney channel. By this time, you may be to old for disney channel so I would suggest going to college with a theatre major and slowly working on tv shows, soap operas, and small parts until you are able to do large parts in movies. Not to mention having to get you S.A.G card and or Acrots Equity card. There is alot involved in becoming an actor and you have to be very devoted to your craft. So good luck and remember it's not easy to be on disney channel! As for the Jonas brothers, I'm not sure what you should do.

How do you become a pro in Bolivia? Is it best to join a youth team or what? I heard you have to know people..?

How do you become a pro in Bolivia? Is it best to join a youth team or what? I heard you have to know people..?
I want to go their this up coming summer. I'm 14 years old right now and play goalie and I made the DC United u15 team, but it was too much money for me. I want to go down their to join Tahuichi Academy or some club youth team like Wilstermann, Aurora, Bolivar, or Oriente Petrolero. I know it may be dumb going down their because the country is poor and their not really good at soccer, but that's where my family is from and I want to go and play for them. I've recently talked to people and they say that it doesn't matter if you're in a youth team down their, you still wouldn't have much of a chance to make the first team. I heard you have to know people and have connections or be really good to get noticed from the youth team. I also heard that the Bolivian coaches buy the best players in the 2nd division teams in Argentina and Brazil and they pick them over their youth players. Does anyone at all have info on the soccer Bolivia and how it works down their? How can you make it pro in Bolivia? And does anyone know how the making pro and youth teams works in other countries like Brazil, Argentina, Spain, England, or Italy? I really want to make it pro and if anyone has any info can they please answer these questions? Thanks
