Hey there! I really really need some help on these following sentences... basically I need to know if they are noun, or adjective, or adverb infinitives. I know this is really ALOT.... but I really don't get these..and I would really appreciate it.. if you could answer these... at least the last 10..!!! thanks !! They are all infinitives, but it's hard to see what kind they are unless they're in a complete sentences. What they DO in the sentence determines what they should be called. Let me give you an example using 1. He decided to paint the apartment next month. Here it's a noun because it's object of the verb "decided." His decision to paint the apartment next month surprised me. Here it's an adjective because it's describing the noun "decision," saying WHICH decision. He saved up to paint the apartment next month. Here it's an adverb, telling you WHY he saved up. Number 19 isn't an infinitive, BTW. It should be written "too hard." Put your examples into sentences and then see what they are doing.
